The Ekiti State Government has embarked on a groundbreaking initiative aimed at gathering comprehensive data from various segments of the community, including unemployed youths, market women, okada riders, artisans, and more.

Taiwo Olatunbosun, the Commissioner for Information, announced plans to create an all-encompassing database for strategic interventions and planning to effectively tackle unemployment in Ado Ekiti.

Olatunbosun said the data gathering aims to include diverse individuals in data collection, including the unemployed, market vendors, and disabled individuals, for decision-making, business challenge identification, and promoting agriculture and digital innovations.

He assured that the effort will change the state’s job scene by explaining that registration can be completed online at https://wealthcreation. ekiapps.ng or in person at the headquarters of the 22 local council development areas and the 16 local government councils.

The commissioner emphasized the program’s commitment to ensuring fair employment opportunities and government interventions, ensuring registered people benefit from future government initiatives.

Olatunbosun urged the youth of Ekiti State to seize this opportunity to register and actively participate in the state’s development journey
