UCL: Real Madrid’s Semi-Final Triumph Marred by Mistakes — Scholes Claims

Paul Scholes, a former Manchester United maestro, has criticized Real Madrid’s Champions League semi-final goals, claiming three out of four were due to officiating errors.

Scholes spoke after Madrid rallied from a deficit to secure a 2-1 victory over the Bavarians in the second leg.

After trailing 1-0 at home to Alphonso Davies’ goal, Joselu struck twice in three minutes to ensure Carlo Ancelotti’s squad advanced to the championship game.

However, Scholes also acknowledged the resilience and pedigree of the Spanish outfit, conceding,

“We don’t think the subs were right, but this is Real Madrid, you can’t rule them out – this is what they do,” Scholes said on TNT Sports
