Isaac Oyedepo, son of the founder of Living Faith Church (Winners Chapel), Bishop David Oyedepo, has addressed recent rumors suggesting that he left the church to establish his own ministry.
In a recent appearance on Leke Adeboye’s podcast, “Confession Box,” Isaac Oyedepo firmly stated his continued affiliation with Living Faith Church, where he serves as a member and steward.
He emphasized that his current activities align with the divine assignment he believes he has received.
“I am still in Winners, I’m still in Living Faith, I’m still a member and a steward because of the assignment that God has given to us,” Isaac clarified.
He suggested that the speculation might stem from misunderstandings about his roles and responsibilities. “I think we just overcomplicate very simple things,” he added.
Isaac elaborated on his journey within the church, noting that his role as a pastor was a natural transition from his prior membership.
“Before I came in full-time to being a pastor, I was a member and what I see is that it was a transition. Nothing really changed but the challenge is seeing me on the altar ministering as a pastor,” he explained.
Currently stationed at a church in Abuja, Isaac mentioned that this position allows him the flexibility to pursue other God-given tasks outside the constraints of a full-time pastoral role.
“I now have the liberty to pursue what God has asked and called me to do which I can’t do being a full-time pastor,” he said.
Isaac Oyedepo’s clarification aims to dispel the rumors and reaffirm his dedication to the Living Faith Church, while also acknowledging the broader scope of his spiritual mission.
