Controversial social media activist, VeryDarkMan, has cast doubt on the prospects of Peter Obi, the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate from the last election, for the 2027 presidential race.

He made a bold statement that Obi has a very slim chance of winning the presidential seat.

VeryDarkMan did not stop at Obi; he extended his prediction to the presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP).

He confidently stated that Atiku Abubakar and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso would also not “smell” the presidency in 2027.

According to him, the supporters of these opposition figures are underestimating the strength and political acumen of the incumbent President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The activist made these comments while reacting to reports about Obi’s recent visit to Atiku, which has sparked speculations about a potential merger of opposition parties.

The Influencer dismissed the effectiveness of such a merger, arguing that it would be insufficient to unseat President Tinubu in the upcoming election.

“I’m sick of seeing the news of Peter Obi and Atiku planning a merger ahead of 2027 in a bid to take over the presidency. But the truth is, Peter Obi, Atiku, or Kwankwaso cannot smell the presidential seat in 2027,” he asserted

He emphasized the opposition’s miscalculation of Tinubu’s capabilities, stating, “The problem with the opposition is that they underestimate the incumbent president, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. With time, you will realize that Tinubu is actually the greatest politician of all time. I hate to say it, but it’s a fact.”

According to VeryDarkMan, Tinubu possesses a combination of intelligence, strategic thinking, and determination that makes him a formidable political figure. “The man is smart, intelligent, and desperate. He knows how to get what he wants. Don’t joke with him. He will remain in office till 2032,” he asserted.

He concluded by advising the opposition to abandon their merger plans, firmly stating, “Peter Obi 2027 is not possible.”
