10-Year-Old Michael Wisdom, a primary 5 pupil of Dola Star Child International School in Ilorin, has emerged as the overall best in the recently concluded Mathematics Competition organized by the Mathematical Association of Nigeria Olympiad, Kwara State Chapter.

The competition, which saw participation from numerous young mathematicians across the state, tested the students’ knowledge and problem-solving skills in both written Olympiad and quiz formats.

Michael Wisdom distinguished himself by securing the top position in both categories, demonstrating exceptional analytical and computational abilities.

His outstanding performance has not only brought pride to his school but also earned him the opportunity to represent Kwara State in the upcoming National Competition scheduled for later this year.

The National Competition will gather the best young mathematicians from various states, providing a platform for them to showcase their talents on a larger stage.

Michael’s teachers at Dola Star Child International School have praised his dedication and hard work, noting that his success is a testament to his diligence and passion for mathematics.
