Nollywood actor Zubby Michael has ignited a major debate with his recent comments on valuing character over wealth in relationships.

According to the actor, it is better to date a struggling man than to date a multi-millionaire who has soiled his hands with blood.

“Everything is not about money,” Michael emphasized. “The multi-billionaire you are admiring might have a temple in his house for diabolic things.”

”He might have scammed someone and the person, out of depression, took their life. But you want to have a beautiful life and family with the person? It is impossible.”

“You might be giving birth and the kids dying. Just date and marry people who you see working hard and growing. Money is not everything.”

Michael argues that the pursuit of wealth, particularly when obtained through unethical or harmful means, can have dire consequences for personal and family life.
