Como have completed the signing of Roma striker Andrea Belotti.

The Italian forward, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Fiorentina, has committed to a contract with Como until 2026.

Belotti expressed his enthusiasm for the move, highlighting the appeal of Como’s project and the vision of the coaching staff. “I chose Como 1907 because I was very impressed by the project presented by the coach and the ownership group,” Belotti told the official club website.

“When speaking with the coach, he shared his ideas about football, his approach to each game, and his mentality. This was crucial for me because the coach’s mentality aligns with my own. As I mentioned before, I think it is a very ambitious project with the right mindset. It has everything needed to succeed.”

Renowned football journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed the details of the transfer, stating, “Andrea Belotti signs in as new Como player from AS Roma — he’s gonna play under Cesc Fabregas. €4.5m deal plus add-ons.”

Belotti’s addition to the team is seen as a significant boost for Como, which aims to climb higher in the league standings. With his experience and proven goal-scoring ability, Belotti is expected to make an immediate impact.
