Nollywood actor and producer Kevin Ikeduba has strongly opposed the practice of casting unqualified actors in exchange for sexual favors.

Ikeduba expressed in an interview on Hip TV’s Trending that he would rather die than compromise his professional standards.

The movie producer, known for his commitment to quality and professionalism, expressed his dissatisfaction with the prevalent unprofessional behavior in the industry.

“The movie industry is very big. What works for A, may not work for B,” he said, highlighting the diversity and complexity of Nollywood.

Ikeduba demonstrated his dedication to his craft by refusing to engage in unethical casting practices.

“Kevin that people know, would rather die instead of giving a girl a role for sex because I am very passionate about what I do. So most times, when I meet mediocre people on set, it hurts me. I will never ever do that,” he asserted.

Ikeduba’s statement comes amid growing scrutiny of professionalism and ethics in the Nigerian film industry.
