Chelsea FC have extended Cole Palmer’s two-year contract, ensuring his long-term stay at Stamford Bridge until June 2033.

This extension follows a remarkable debut season, where Palmer made an immediate impact, scoring 25 goals and providing 15 assists in 45 appearances across all competitions.

Palmer, who joined Chelsea from Manchester City last summer for an initial fee of £40 million, has quickly become a key player under manager Enzo Maresca.

His impressive performances on the pitch have not gone unnoticed, earning him a new contract just a year into his initial seven-year deal, which also included an option for a further 12 months.

The attacking midfielder’s successful run continued at the UEFA European Under-21 Championship, where his standout performances helped England clinch the title.

After a well-deserved break, Palmer returned to Chelsea last week and made his first appearance of the pre-season as a second-half substitute in the 1-1 friendly draw against Inter Milan at Stamford Bridge.
