Giovanni Manna, Napoli’s transfer chief, has revealed that Victor Osimhen is reportedly considering leaving the club during the summer transfer window.
The Nigeria international has attracted serious interest from top European clubs, including Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), and Arsenal.
Osimhen, who has been pivotal to Napoli’s successes in recent seasons, is eager to take the next step in his career.
However, any potential transfer is far from straightforward. Napoli has made it clear that they will only consider sanctioning Osimhen’s departure if an offer close to his substantial release clause is presented.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Manna provided an update on the current state of negotiations.
“Osimhen? The situation is currently blocked,” Manna revealed, according to renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
“He wants to leave, but I can’t give any feeling on PSG or Chelsea… We’re now trying to find a solution with his camp.”
While both Chelsea and PSG are reportedly monitoring the situation closely, Manna’s comments suggest that no concrete progress has been made toward Osimhen’s departure.
Arsenal has also been linked with the 24-year-old striker, though their level of interest remains less clear.
Osimhen’s future remains uncertain as Napoli continues to navigate this complex transfer saga.
