I’ll Win The Presidential Election In 2027, PDP Is Already Dead — Kwankwaso

Former governor of Kano, Rabiu Kwankwaso, has said he will win the 2027 presidential election.

He made this statement on Saturday when he inaugurated a renovated office of the party in Katsina state.

Kwankwaso was quoted by NAN as saying that his party, New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) is set to take over the presidency and states when the general elections are comes up in 2027.

He added that he and his followers left the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) because “it is dead”.

“I wish to remind you that PDP is already dead, because we were in the party, since they have gone out of the line, we decided to check out,” he said.

The former senator also said that Nigerians should not be deceived by gifts or money during the next general election.

He mentioned that the renovation of the state’s secretariat is “part of preparations towards success”.

NNPP’s chairman in Katsina, Armaya’u Abdulkadir, said the party in the state is doing everything viable to educate the electorate on the party’s new logo.

He said that the new logo stands for education for all, which is the main focus area of the Kwankwasiyya leader.

“There is the need for the party to embark on grassroots sensitisation to inform the members on the importance of the new logo,” he said.
