The national security adviser (NSA), Nuhu Ribadu has said that the federal government is working “tirelessly” to end insecurity across Nigeria.
NAN reports that the NSA spoke on Friday in Damaturu, the capital of Yobe, during a condolence visit to the state following the recent insurgency attack in one of the communities.
Ribadu lauded the personnel of the armed forces and other security agencies for their efforts in fighting insecurity.
The NSA also said that their sacrifices have improved the security situation in the country.
“The federal government is working tirelessly to end insecurity,” he said.
“It’s only a matter of time before the entire nation is secure.”
The minister of finance and coordinating minister of economy, Wale Edun also commiserated with the people who lost loved ones to the tragic occurrence.
Yobe state governor, Mai Mala Buni, thanked the federal government delegation, saying that the visit gave the people of the state a sense of belonging.
Buni then implored Nigerians to continue praying for the success of President Bola Tinubu, saying “his success is the nation’s success”.
