A Nigerian attorney based in Germany, Franklyne Ogbunwezeh, says President Bola Tinubu does not have the capacity to lead Nigeria effectively.

Whilst speaking during an interview with Rudolf Okonkwo on 90MinutesAfrica on Sunday, the lawyer expressed doubts about Tinubu’s ability to address the country’s challenges.

Ogbunwezeh questioned the president’s policies, particularly his handling of inflation and the naira’s fall.

He stated that since Tinubu assumed office, he has failed to introduce efficacious measures to address these challenges.

“President Tinubu does not have the capacity or the competence to govern Nigeria. Even if you give him a hundred years, he won’t know what to do with the country,” he said.

The legal luminary also criticized the removal of the petrol subsidy, stressing that no concrete plans were constituted place to mollify the impact on Nigerians.

He challenged Tinubu to show what policies he has put into action to curb inflation or stabilise the naira since assuming office.

“Immediately after, the forces that are hell-bent on making a buck out of every bad situation in Nigeria took over, and now he is overwhelmed,” he added.

Speaking about rumours of an imminent cabinet reshuffle, the lawyer said it would not make a difference by the reason that Tinubu lacks a clear plan for governing the country.

He also alleged that Nigeria has been taken over at every level of government by some politicians who are more concerned with personal gain than governance.
