Comedian Dee One has criticized social media critic VeryDarkMan for accepting a N100 million donation from music mogul Don Jazzy, accusing him of hypocrisy.

VeryDarkMan recently disclosed the donation, which was directed toward his newly launched non-governmental organization (NGO).

However, Dee One took to Instagram to express his displeasure, referencing VeryDarkMan’s past criticisms of Don Jazzy for giving money to cross-dresser Bobrisky while he was in prison.

In the Instagram video, Dee One questioned the consistency of VeryDarkMan’s values, calling his sudden acceptance of Don Jazzy’s donation a sign of “perceived hypocrisy.”

“I am disappointed in Don Jazzy. You criticized him for supporting Bobrisky, but now you’ve collected N100 million from the same Don Jazzy,” Dee One remarked.

“So, Don Jazzy must be a good person after all. He doesn’t care whether the receiver is good or evil.”

Dee One pointed out that when Don Jazzy previously gave money to Bobrisky, VeryDarkMan publicly condemned the act.

However, with the recent donation to his NGO, the social media critic appears to have softened his stance.

“Don Jazzy is also very petty,” Dee One added.”

“He probably thought it was poverty talking back then. But when VeryDarkMan needed money, he gave him N100 million. Now, the same money that was ‘bad’ when given to Bobrisky is suddenly ‘good.’”
