Renowned public commentator and former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, has lauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his decision to appoint Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu as the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs.
Omokri praised Nigeria’s appointment as a well-considered decision, highlighting its potential to strengthen international diplomacy through a post on social media platform X.
In his congratulatory message, Omokri expressed his confidence in Odumegwu-Ojukwu’s ability to excel in her new role, describing her as a perfect fit for the position.
He wrote, “Congratulations, Ambassador Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu. President Tinubu has put a round peg in a round hole. You are a specimen of the class and breeding required to take Nigeria’s foreign relations to the next level.”
Omokri also highlighted her longstanding dedication and service to Nigeria, saying, “As I always tell you when we meet, you are an epitome of beauty and an example of duty to your country. I have no doubt that you will excel in your new position.”

Ambassador Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, the widow of the late Nigerian civil war hero and leader of the defunct Republic of Biafra, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu, has had a distinguished career in diplomacy.
She previously served as Nigeria’s Ambassador to Spain, where she left a significant mark on Nigeria’s foreign relations.
