Former minister of women affairs, Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye, has said that it is the destiny of President Bola Tinubu to fix Nigeria.

Last Wednesday, the president fired five ministers from his cabinet.

The affected ministers are Kennedy-Ohanenye; Lola Ade-John, the minister of tourism; and Jamila Bio Ibrahim, minister of youth development.

The minister of education, Tahir Mamman was also relieved from his role while Abdullahi Muhammad Gwarzo was let go as minister of state, housing and urban
development.

In her reaction to the dismissal, Kennedy-Ohanenye had appreciated Tinubu for the opportunity to serve as minister.

Kennedy-Ohanenye also said that it has been an honour and privilege to contribute her quota to the development of Nigeria.

In a statement made available on Saturday, she said she would continue to fight for Nigeria alongside Tinubu.

“This is a test of time, a Highly Spiritual Movement that no Human being can stop,” she wrote.

“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is destined to fix Nigeria and I, Barr Uju Kennedy will fight alongside him to the last. Let’s be optimistic. Nigeria will be great!”

President Tinubu had also appointed seven new ministers and reassigned ten to new portfolios.

The just appointed ministers will be screened by the senate.
