Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has praised Chelsea’s Cole Palmer for his outstanding long-range pass in a thrilling match against Newcastle United.

Chelsea dominated the match, showcasing their attacking prowess throughout.

Palmer delivered a breathtaking 60-yard pass to Pedro Neto, who then set up Nicolas Jackson with a precise low cross for Chelsea’s opening goal.

Carragher, speaking on Sky Sports, remarked, “This pass over 60 yards… that’s one of the best I’ve seen, not just this season but in the history of the Premier League. It completely bypassed two or three Newcastle defenders and was perfectly placed for Neto, allowing Jackson to finish in style.”

Despite Newcastle’s efforts, which saw Alexander Isak equalize in the 32nd minute, Chelsea regained their lead shortly after the break.

Palmer found the back of the net in the 47th minute, sealing the win and ensuring Chelsea walked away with all three points.
