Nigerian music superstar, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has shared an extraordinary aspect of his influence, revealing that he has direct access to 14 world leaders.
The singer made this claim during his appearance at the ‘Elevate Africa’ programme, where he emphasized the power of music in expanding his reach and opening doors for his family.
Speaking passionately about his journey, Davido highlighted how his career has transcended wealth and fame to become a tool for cultural diplomacy.
“Aside from my dad’s businesses and wealth, I know how many doors my music has opened for my family,” he said. “Forget the money. I have 14 presidents’ phone numbers. I can call them directly.”
Davido also reflected on how his global influence promotes Nigerian culture.
He noted that in every country he visits, he often garners the attention of the highest offices.
“In every country we go to, the president wants to meet us. That’s also promoting our culture. It’s an amazing feeling,” he added.
