Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has spoken out against domestic violence, urging individuals to walk away from troubled marriages rather than resort to harm.
His statement comes in response to the tragic incident in Anambra, where a man allegedly set his wife ablaze during a dispute. The woman later succumbed to her injuries.
In a Facebook post, Edochie emphasized that infidelity is not a justification for violence. “Even if you catch your spouse with someone else, there is no reason to harm them. No marriage is worth taking another person’s life,” he wrote.
The actor encouraged individuals in unhappy or toxic marriages to seek peaceful resolutions or leave rather than let emotions lead to irreversible actions.
