Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has etched his name further into Premier League history by surpassing Thierry Henry on the all-time goalscorer list.

The Egyptian netted his 176th league goal during Liverpool’s 4-1 victory over Ipswich Town at Anfield on Saturday, January 25.

Salah’s goal, which came in the 35th minute, saw him move up to seventh place in the league’s all-time rankings, overtaking Arsenal legend Henry, who scored 175 goals.

He is now just one goal behind former Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard (177) and continues to chase further milestones.

The 32-year-old has been instrumental for Arne Slot’s Liverpool side this season, playing a key role in their title charge.

With 18 goals so far, he currently leads the Premier League Golden Boot race, two goals ahead of Manchester City’s Erling Haaland and Newcastle’s Alexander Isak.

In addition to his goal tally, Salah has also provided 13 assists, underlining his influence in Liverpool’s attack.

Liverpool’s win over Ipswich ensured they maintained their six-point lead over second-placed Arsenal, reinforcing their position at the top of the table.
