Controversial Nigerian singer Speed Darlington has claimed he survived a gunshot attack while leaving a nightclub in Victoria Island, Lagos, in the early hours of January 27.
The artist, known for his outspoken nature, shared a video on social media showing visible dents on his car, which he alleged were caused by bullets.
According to him, he and his driver heard gunshots while leaving the venue, only to later discover the damage to his vehicle.
In the video, Speed Darlington suggested that the incident might be connected to his ongoing feud with fellow singer Burna Boy.
He implied that his recent statements could have provoked certain individuals, stating, “I haven’t even said anything yet, and they are already sending assassins my way. There must be truth in what I am saying.”
Accompanying the video, he wrote in the comment section, “Bro, is this necessary? You try to take my life… really?”
