Portuguese football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has boldly declared himself the “most complete player” in football history, asserting that no player surpasses him in terms of overall ability.
Speaking in a recent interview with Edu Aguirre of El Chiringuito, Ronaldo addressed the ongoing debate about the greatest footballer of all time.
While acknowledging that fans may prefer Lionel Messi, Diego Maradona, or Pele, he insisted that he stands above all.
“I think I’m the most complete football player that has ever existed. People could like Messi, Maradona, or Pele, and I respect it, but I’m the most complete. I’m the best player in football history. I haven’t seen anyone better than me in football history, and I’m saying the truth from my heart,” Ronaldo stated.
The 39-year-old forward, currently playing for Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League, has enjoyed an illustrious career, winning five Ballon d’Or awards and numerous league titles, including the Champions League, Premier League, La Liga, and Serie A.
Despite his impressive achievements, the FIFA World Cup remains the only major title missing from his collection.
However, Ronaldo has led Portugal to international glory, winning the UEFA Euro 2016 and the 2019 Nations League.
