Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, better known as Odumodublvck, recently shared a fascinating story about his connection with global music star Burna Boy.
In an interview on the Afrobeats Podcast with Adesope, Odumodublvck opened up about a surreal dream he had before meeting Burna Boy in person, where the two shared a meal of pounded yam.
Odumodublvck described Burna Boy as his “spirit animal,” alongside UK rapper Skepta.
He recalled a vivid dream in which the two artists were enjoying the popular Nigerian dish together.
“Before I met Burna Boy, I saw him in my dream, and we were eating pounded yam. Burna Boy told me that the day I saw him was the first time he had eaten pounded yam in two years,” Odumodublvck shared.
The rapper also touched on his friendship with other notable figures in the industry, including Afrobeats star Rema and Nigerian businessman Seyi Tinubu, son of the Nigerian president.
