The Presidency has downplayed speculations that former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, is planning to destabilize the administration of President Bola Tinubu, asserting that El-Rufai lacks the political strength to pose such a challenge.
Daniel Bwala, Special Adviser to the President on Policy Communication, made this assertion during an interview with TVC News.
He emphasized that El-Rufai’s political influence is largely dependent on his alignment with strong revolutionary leaders.
“There’s a dynamic around him. El-Rufai needs a solid revolutionary figure to thrive. On his own, El-Rufai might not even secure a Senate seat,” Bwala stated.
