Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has strongly criticized Biafra agitators who resort to violence against their own people in their quest for a separate nation.
In recent years, some groups advocating for the Biafran cause have been linked to violent attacks, destruction of businesses, and the killing of fellow Igbos who either oppose or do not fully align with their ideology.
Taking to his Facebook page, Edochie expressed his disapproval, stating that there is no justification for such actions.
According to him, any movement that turns against its own people in an attempt to prove a point is built on cowardice rather than genuine liberation.
He wrote:
“Only a coward kills his people to make a point. If you claim to fight for your people, then you must protect them at all costs, not harm them.”
