“‘Not Every Husband Can Afford Gas’ – Nigerian Man Drop Advises on Cooking Methods
A Nigerian man, Yaya Abba, has advised parents to teach their daughters how to cook using charcoal and firewood.
According to him, the rising cost of cooking gas makes it unaffordable for many men, making traditional cooking methods a necessary skill.
In a social media post, Abba emphasized that due to the high cost of gas, families should not rely solely on it for cooking.
Instead, he urged parents to equip their daughters with practical survival skills that could be useful in their future marriages.
“Parents should try as much as possible to teach their daughters how to use charcoal and firewood as their primary means of cooking, given the fact that cooking gas is now unnecessarily expensive and a lot of men can’t afford it,” he wrote.
