Premier League giants Arsenal and Manchester United are reportedly among five top clubs vying for the signature of Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, according to reports from Italy.

The 26-year-old Nigerian forward, who became a global sensation after leading Napoli to their first Serie A title in 33 years during the 2022–23 season with 31 goals, is currently enjoying a prolific spell on loan at Galatasaray.

He has already scored 26 goals this campaign, helping the Turkish side dominate their domestic league.

Despite his success in Turkey, Osimhen’s long-term future remains uncertain. Napoli still hold his contract until 2026, with an option to extend to 2027, and his release clause stands at £63 million.

However, several top European clubs are closely monitoring his situation ahead of the summer transfer window.

According to Corriere dello Sport via Football Italia, Arsenal and Manchester United will have to battle it out with Juventus and Barcelona for the prolific striker.

Galatasaray are also reportedly keen on keeping Osimhen permanently, following his impressive loan stint.

Speaking to Sport Mediaset, Galatasaray vice-president Abdullah Kavukcu revealed that the striker will make a decision in April.

“At the moment, five of the world’s top clubs are interested in him,” Kavukcu said. “His arrival here was a dream—he came, and for now, he is playing with us.”

He added that while the Turkish giants are focused on winning the league title, discussions about Osimhen’s future are yet to begin.

“There is no point in talking about it now, but his stay at Galatasaray is not as impossible as it may seem,” he added.

Juventus are reportedly positioning themselves as front-runners in the race, particularly as they consider offloading Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic in the summer.
