U.S. President Donald Trump has condemned recent attacks on Tesla vehicles, labeling the perpetrators as “terrorists” and promising strict action against them.
Speaking during a cabinet meeting at the White House, Trump praised Tesla CEO Elon Musk for his contributions to the administration, particularly in his role as the head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
The department, according to Trump, has played a key role in exposing fraud, waste, and theft within the federal government.
Trump expressed sympathy for Musk, acknowledging the challenges he has faced amid the attacks on his company’s vehicles.
“Elon has been through a lot with this horrible situation,” Trump said.
“He is a patriot, and the hostility towards him and Tesla is completely unfair.”
The president revealed that law enforcement had taken decisive action, leading to the arrest of four individuals allegedly involved in the attacks.
He suggested that the attacks were financially backed by influential figures, hinting that some of them might even be known to him.
“They are going to suffer very great consequences,” Trump stated firmly. “They are really terrorists when you think about it—terrorists at a high level. I believe people are financing them, and they could very well be people I know. Those people are in big trouble.”
