Galatasaray forward, Victor Osimhen, has reportedly agreed personal terms with Premier League giants Manchester United ahead of a possible summer transfer.

The update was revealed by highly regarded Turkish journalist, Serdar Çelikler, who stated on a podcast that, “Victor Osimhen has reached an agreement with Manchester United. But there is also the club side of the matter.”

Manchester United are said to be actively seeking a proven striker during the upcoming summer transfer window, with current frontman Rasmus Hojlund underperforming this season.

Club manager Ruben Amorim is believed to be pushing for a change in the attacking department, and Osimhen is now a top target.

While an agreement on personal terms has reportedly been reached, the English club must still negotiate a deal with Napoli, who hold the Nigerian international’s contract.

Osimhen, 26, is currently on loan at Turkish champions Galatasaray and has enjoyed an impressive campaign.

The Super Eagles star has netted 29 goals and registered six assists in 34 appearances across all competitions for the Istanbul-based club.

His release clause is valued at €75 million (£63m), but reports suggest that Napoli might be willing to lower the asking price to facilitate the move.
