Barcelona starlet Lamine Yamal has promised to fulfill his mission with the club after their dramatic and heartbreaking UEFA Champions League semi-final exit to Inter Milan.

The 16-year-old sensation took to Instagram to address fans just hours after Barcelona were knocked out in a pulsating second-leg clash at the San Siro, which ended 4-3 in favour of the Italian side after extra time.

The Blaugrana looked poised for a memorable comeback after erasing a 2-0 halftime deficit to lead 3-2, but late goals from Francesco Acerbi in stoppage time and Davide Frattesi in the 99th minute broke Catalan hearts and sent Inter through to the final.

Yamal, one of Barcelona’s standout performers across both legs, expressed disappointment but reaffirmed his loyalty and determination in an emotional message:

“We gave it our all — this year it couldn’t be, but we’ll be back, have no doubt about it. Culers, we won’t stop until we put this club where it belongs: at the very top. I will keep my promise and bring it to Barcelona; we won’t stop until we achieve it.

Barcelona’s head coach Hansi Flick also praised his team’s fighting spirit and vowed to come back stronger, stating, “We’ll be back.”

Despite the Champions League setback, Barcelona remain in strong contention for the LaLiga title, sitting four points ahead of rivals Real Madrid. All eyes now turn to Sunday’s decisive El Clasico, which could determine the league champion.
