Former Super Eagles star Daniel Amokachi has called on Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen to take the next step in his career by moving to the English Premier League, describing it as a stage where he can fully showcase his talent.
Osimhen, who is currently enjoying a successful loan spell at Turkish giants Galatasaray, has had a remarkable season, netting 33 goals and providing 8 assists in 38 appearances across all competitions.
His outstanding form has sparked interest from top EPL clubs, including Manchester United and Chelsea, ahead of the summer transfer window.
Amokachi, speaking about the Napoli forward’s future, highlighted Osimhen’s impressive mental strength and physical presence, noting that the Nigerian international has all the qualities needed to succeed in the high-intensity environment of the Premier League.
“It would be nice to see him play in the best league in the world—the EPL—because any league that Osimhen plays in, he would flourish, no doubt about that,” Amokachi said.
“He has the quality in him; he has the warrior in him. He is a player that any club in the world would love to have.”
With growing transfer speculation and his name linked to elite English clubs, fans and pundits alike are eager to see if the 25-year-old will make a high-profile move to England this summer.
