Popular Nigerian clergyman and founder of Trinity House Church, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, has paid a heartfelt tribute to his late wife, Ibidun Ighodalo, marking the fifth year since her passing.

Ibidun, a former beauty queen and renowned philanthropist, died on June 14, 2020, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, at the age of 40.

Her sudden demise left a deep void in the hearts of many, especially within humanitarian and religious circles.

In a moving Instagram post on Friday, June 14, Pastor Ighodalo expressed his enduring love and admiration for his late wife. “Life isn’t always what it seems to be, words can’t express what you mean to me. Even though you’re gone, we are still a team,” he wrote.

The cleric continued with emotional lines that reflected the pain of her absence and his hope of reuniting someday: “It’s hard with you not around, knowing you are in Heaven smiling down, watching us while we pray for you. Every day we pray for you, till the day we meet again. In my heart is where I’ll keep you. #IbidunniForever.”

To commemorate her legacy, a praise night was held on Tuesday, June 11, attended by family, friends, and well-wishers.

Photos from the event showed Pastor Ituah with their children, visibly united in faith and remembrance.

Ibidun Ighodalo was widely celebrated for her humanitarian work, especially through the Ibidunni Ighodalo Foundation, which supports couples dealing with infertility. Her legacy continues to inspire many across Nigeria and beyond.
