The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Umar Damagum, has reaffirmed the party’s unity despite internal challenges and recent political tensions.

Speaking after the National Working Committee (NWC) meeting held on Wednesday in Abuja, Damagum stressed that the PDP remains unshaken and committed to resolving issues internally.

“We know our problems, and we solve them within ourselves. As you can see, we are all here as the NWC of this party. We remain united despite all the challenges,” he said.

Damagum emphasized that the PDP stands out as the most inclusive and tolerant political platform in the country.

“There is no place that will be as accommodating as the PDP,” he added.

His remarks come amid speculations of disunity and rifts within the party, but the chairman maintained that the PDP’s strength lies in its internal democratic processes and its ability to manage differences constructively.
