Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha, has stated that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is consolidating and expanding upon the institutional reforms initiated by his predecessor, Muhammadu Buhari.

Mustapha made the remarks on Wednesday during the public presentation of “According to the President,” a book authored by former presidential spokesperson, Garba Shehu, held in Abuja.

Speaking at the event, Mustapha commended both leaders for prioritizing systemic governance over personality-driven politics, noting that Buhari’s tenure laid a foundation of policy reforms that Tinubu is now strengthening.

“President Buhari governed with duty rather than drama. He was driven by principles, not applause,” Mustapha said, emphasizing Buhari’s methodical approach to leadership.

He pointed to major initiatives such as the Petroleum Industry Act, expansive infrastructure development, retooling of the military, and the National Social Investment Programme (NSIP) as transformative policies championed under Buhari. Mustapha also cited advancements in agriculture, education, power, and the digital economy as critical to Buhari’s legacy.

According to the former SGF, President Tinubu’s administration is not only maintaining these reforms but also building on them with a renewed focus on national development and economic stability.
