Former Oyo State Governor, Rashidi Ladoja, will be crowned as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland on Friday, September 26, 2025.
NAIJA24NEWS gathered on Wednesday that his nomination has been ratified by Governor Seyi Makinde.
It was also learnt that a state delegation met with the Olubadan-designate and members of the Olubadan-In-Council at his Bodija residence to finalise arrangements.
Confirming the development, Ladoja’s media aide, Adeola Oloko, said the coronation will take place at the historic Mapo Hall in Ibadan.
Recall that the kingmakers had earlier met with Ladoja on Tuesday, paving the way for his enthronement.
