The Delta State Police have arrested a man who escaped from pr!son during the End SARS 2020 unrest, after he allegedly k!ll*d 26-year-old Christabel Egedefe in Agbor, Ika South Local Government Area.
Police spokesperson Bright Edafe explained that the susp*ct targ*ted the vict!m’s home during a robb*ry on October 23, 2025. When she refused to hand over her motorcycle keys, he reportedly kil!!ed her and took her mobile phones.
The investigation began when the suspect attempted to sell one of the stolen phones the following day. Police quickly apprehended him, and the phone was traced back to Christabel. During questioning, he initially tried to shift the blame to the vict!m’s father but later admitted to carrying out the cr!me alone.
Authorities say the investigation is ongoing, and the suspect will face the full weight of the law.
