“Democracy Remains Strong, Nigeria Not in Jeopardy” – FCT Minister Responds to Turaki’s  Claims

FCT Minister Nyesom Wike on Wednesday slammed PDP factional leader Tanimu Turaki, calling his claims of Christian gen*cide “reckless and dang*rous.” Wike insisted Nigeria’s democracy remains stable and warned against spreading false narratives that threat*n national security.

Speaking to the South-South Development Commission (SSDC) board, Wike urged focus on regional growth, fiscal discipline, and avoiding political distractions. The SSDC leadership, led by Prince Chinudom Nwuche and Ms. Usoro Akpabio, pledged to drive development in the South-South region and strengthen federal collaboration.
