Political strategist and Alliance for Democracy founding secretary Prof. Udenta Udenta has accused Minister Nyesom Wike of working directly under President Bola Tinubu’s orders to underm!ne the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Speaking on Arise News, Prof. Udenta said the crisis in the PDP is not just internal — it is being “externally eng!neered” by the ruling party. He argued that Wike’s interventions at the PDP secretariat were not personal power plays, but part of a broader pr*sidential strategy.
Udenta accused INEC of being vague and compl!Cit, saying the electoral body has failed to clearly address the leadership rift in the PDP. He also blamed the Nigerian Police, claiming officers allowed pro-Wike forces to take over the PDP secretariat early in the morning while security stood by.
According to him, the president “sent the minister forth” to weken the opposition from within, and unless there’s a direct intervention from Tinubu himself, the crisis will persist.
