High Chief Obio has appealed to the government and political leaders to “stop using the lives of Nigerians to play politics,” as communities continue to battle rising insecurity across the country.
Speaking on Wednesday, he condemned the increasing cases of k!dn@pping and b@nd!t attacks, describing the situation as a national emergency that demands sincerity and immediate action.
He stressed that leadership must be rooted in responsibility and humanity, noting that every Nigerian life matters regardless of status, tribe, or political leaning.
According to him, citizens deserve protection, not empty promises, and he called for decisive steps that restore public confidence.
Obio added that true leadership is measured by how quickly and compassionately leaders respond when ordinary people are in danger.
