Donald Trump has said South Africa will not be invited to the 2026 G20 Summit in Miami. In a message posted on X, he accused the South African government of ignoring serious human rights abus*s against white farmers, claiming some have been k*lled and their lands taken.

Trump said the U.S. did not attend the G20 in South Africa for this reason and added that all U.S. payments and support to the country would stop immediately. He also criticised the media for not reporting the situation.

He stated that South Africa refused to hand over the G20 presidency to a U.S. representative at the event’s closing ceremony, which he described as further disrespect.
