Popular Nigerian OAP, Oladotun ‘Do2dtun’ Kayode, has shared a heartbreaking message on X, signalling what appears to be his lowest moment yet in the long battle to gain access to his daughters.
In the emotional post, Do2dtun wrote that he has “drawn the final curtain”, saying his hands and heart have “bled really hard” over the years as he struggled to be in his children’s lives. He addressed his girls — Fifemayo and Fiore — telling them he has fought endlessly, but the battle has taken a painful toll.
“Daddy don try… I have tried to choose me over and over again but it’s tough. I am not a coward but my fight ends here. God, this is your fight, not mine.”
The OAP’s message comes just days after he publicly accused the U.S. Embassy in Nigeria and his ex-wife of relocating his children abroad without his consent — despite a standing joint-custody court order that should guarantee him access.
Do2dtun, who has battled for years to see his daughters, claims he has been repeatedly denied access since 2022, despite numerous court rulings in his favour. He insists the children were moved out of Nigeria illegally, and that fresh passports were issued without his signature — a process he describes as “aiding parental alienation.”
Do2dtun and his ex-wife, Taiwo, have been in a heated custody dispute since their split. Despite the court granting joint custody, the OAP says he has not been allowed to see his daughters in years — a situation that has pushed him into emotional exhaustion.
The battle escalated heavily in 2025 when he went public with allegations of international child relocation without due process.
Do2dtun’s latest message reads like that of a father who has fought every legal and personal battle possible — and is now emotionally drained. His words have sparked sympathy across social media, with many Nigerians calling for intervention and demanding accountability in cases of child custody, parental access and alleged relocation abuse.
For now, the OAP says he is handing everything over to God — hoping, perhaps, that where the legal system has failed him, divine timing will prevail.
