President Bola Tinubu’s son, Seyi Tinubu, alongside the Minister of Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande, paid a courtesy visit to former President Muhammadu Buhari at his residence in Kaduna on Tuesday.
The visit, which was part of ongoing engagements with key political and religious figures, also saw Seyi Tinubu meeting with controversial Islamic cleric, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, and Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani.
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ayekooto Akindele, disclosed the visit in a Facebook post, highlighting the significance of the discussions held.
“Seyi Tinubu paid a courtesy visit to Mufti Sheik Abubakar Mahmud Gumi shortly before sharing Iftaar meals with Muslim faithful at Sultan Bello Mosque, Kaduna,” Akindele wrote.
During the visit, Governor Uba Sani commended Seyi Tinubu and his team, Renewed Hope Youth Engagement, for their efforts in youth development and community engagement.
The governor also pledged to present the proposal for the creation of a Ministry of Youth Development to the Kaduna State Executive Council for deliberation.
