Former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani, has mourned the passing of Nigerian business mogul and philanthropist, Alhaji Aminu Dantata, describing it as a great national loss.
Dantata reportedly died on Saturday, a development confirmed by his Personal Private Secretary, Mustapha Abdullahi Junaid.
In a tribute posted on his verified X handle, Sani extolled the virtues of the late elder statesman, noting that Dantata lived a life of purpose, compassion, and integrity.
“The news of the passing away of Alhaji Aminu Dantata is a great loss to the country.
He was a man of upright values and boundless compassion who touched the lives of millions across generations,” Sani wrote.
He added, “Not everyone is so blessed with a combination of purposeful longevity, generous spirit, and wealth of honour.
He was an accomplished man who lived an exemplary life. May his soul rest in Aljanna Firdausi. Amin.”
Alhaji Dantata, a respected figure in Nigeria’s business and philanthropic circles, was known for his quiet impact and support for numerous social causes.
