Human rights activist and #RevolutionNow convener, Omoyele Sowore, on Monday alleged that the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Moshood Jimoh, has declared him wanted for allegedly causing a disturbance of public peace in Oworonsoki.
Sowore claimed the development followed what he described as the failure of police officers to execute a “shoot-on-sight” directive allegedly issued by the “illegal Inspector-General of Police,” Kayode Egbetokun.
He stated that repeated attempts to reach Commissioner Jimoh by phone were unsuccessful, adding that he intends to meet with the police chief to address the matter.
