Nigerian singer and internet personality Speed Darlington has cancelled the raffle draw he announced months ago to give away his Mercedes-Benz to a lucky follower.
The artiste had asked fans to pay ₦2,000 each to enter the raffle. However, in a new update, he said the total money collected was far below expectations.
According to him, the amount raised “cannot even buy a tricycle (keke),” making it impossible for him to give away his car as promised.
Speed Darlington said he would now choose one person and give them all the money collected from the raffle, instead of the Mercedes-Benz.
