Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanemere, popularly known as Odumeje, has made headlines once again, this time attributing the depreciation of the Naira to his travels outside Nigeria.
Renowned for his flamboyant style and bold assertions, the self-proclaimed spiritual leader made waves with his recent declaration upon returning from London, asserting his role in curbing the appreciation of the dollar against the Nigerian currency.
Odumeje, upon returning from London, boasted: that “This is Indaboski Bahose. The war and the battle. A man full of power and activities. The only man who tells you, “I will bring down a dollar,” and he gets it done. When I left the country, dollar began to rise; now, I am back, I will continue where I stopped.”
This is not the first time Odumeje has claimed responsibility for economic fluctuations.
In a recent church program, he attributed the decrease in the exchange rate of the dollar to the Naira to his supernatural powers, which he aptly named ‘Abidoshaker.’
His claims were made following the significant gains in the Nigerian currency after exchanging at N1,920 per dollar.
