Real Madrid legend Toni Kroos has revealed that he will retire from professional football following Germany’s Euro 2024 campaign.

Kroos, 34, shared his decision publicly, emphasizing his desire to end his illustrious career on a high note. “I am convinced that it is the correct decision. I wanted to end it in the best way possible and this season is one of the best I have played,” Kroos stated.

“My goal was to finish in the best way, this season has been one of my best. I want you to remember me as I am now.”

The midfield maestro has enjoyed a glittering career, particularly since his transfer to Real Madrid from Bayern Munich in July 2014.
