Super Eagles head coach, Finidi George, has resigned from his role just after month when was appointed to replace Jose Peseiro at the senior national team.
He confirmed his resignation via WhatsApp chat with our Daily Trust ’s correspondent on Saturday.
“Yes, it is true I have resigned, ” Finidi said when asked to confirm.
Finidi’s reign as Super Eagles coach will go down as the shortest ever in the history of the coaching with the three-time African champion in the last decade.
