Media personality Toke Makinwa has strongly criticized Nigerian music icon Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, following his public announcement of separation and impending divorce from his wife of 12 years, actress Annie Idibia.
2Baba had taken to social media to share a video confirming the split, sparking widespread reactions. Among those who responded was Makinwa, who openly condemned his decision to bring the matter to the public space.
In a direct comment on his post, she wrote:
“This is wrong on all levels, and you should be ashamed of yourself for bringing this here. Bring it on, if you think she’s alone. Let me tell you here that you’ll have to fight all of us.”
Makinwa also called on other women to rally behind Annie, emphasizing the importance of standing together in support of one another.
