Suspected kidnappers have attacked the Chikakore area of Kubwa in the Bwari Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory, abducting a man, his wife, their son, and two others in a midnight raid.
The attackers, reportedly numbering about 30 and armed with AK-47 rifles, stormed the community around 12 a.m. on Monday, January 27.
Their first target was the residence of Adefija Michael Akinropo, who was taken along with his wife, son, and elder brother.
A resident, speaking to Daily Trust, revealed that after the initial abductions, the kidnappers moved to another house where a poultry farm is located.
There, they kidnapped another man and inflicted injuries on his wife before fleeing.
Police officers from the Byazin Police Station have since visited the scene, but as of now, the abductors have not contacted the victims’ families.
